Information on current federal, state and local veterans’ programs, entitlements and referral services is available in Virginia through a network of 35 benefit service offices. All services are provided free of charge.

Driven by an innate desire to answer our Nation's call, an unwavering commitment to emerge victorious, and a collective purpose that defines our unbreakable bond, Marines win the battles in front of them with an inner fight running through them.

The National Museum of the Marine Corps is a lasting tribute to the commitment, accomplishments, and sacrifices of U.S. Marines. Situated on a 135-acre site adjacent to Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, and under the command of Marine Corps University, the Museum's soaring design evokes the images of the flag raisers of Iwo Jima and beckons visitors to this 240,000-square-foot structure. World-class interpretive exhibits with innovative technology and unique artifacts surround visitors and immerse them in the sights and sounds of Marines in action.

The Marine Corps Association is a member based organization dedicated to professional development, recognition of excellence, and building awareness of the rich traditions, history and esprit of the United States Marine Corps. We accomplish this in a variety of ways including providing two iconic publications, the Marine Corps Gazette and Leatherneck Magazine of the Marines, and by hosting professional dinners and award ceremonies for Marines and friends of the Corps.

The Young Marines is a national non-profit youth program for boys and girls ages 8 through high school. It promotes mental, moral, and physical development, focusing on leadership, teamwork, and self-discipline. The program emphasizes self-confidence, academic achievement, honoring veterans, good citizenship, community service, and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. By building character and leadership skills, the Young Marines prepare youth to be productive members of society.

Founded in 1960 in Denver, CO, the Women Marines Association (WMA) preserves the legacy and history of women Marines. Committed to honoring all women who have earned the title of Marine, WMA fosters camaraderie and service. Our nationwide chapters support military personnel, women Marine veterans, their families, and local communities through various programs. United by our shared history and dedication, WMA reaches wherever there is a need.

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) enhances the readiness and quality of life for Marines, their families, retirees, and civilians through comprehensive programs. These include employment, education, fitness, recreation, family support, child care, counseling, dining, and shopping. Guided by the core values of honor, courage, commitment, courtesy, responsibility, and loyalty, MCCS aims to be the top choice for services, exceeding expectations and building lifelong loyalty. With over 2,250 facilities and a staff of more than 12,000 worldwide, MCCS provides unwavering support throughout the Marine Corps journey.

Marine Corps League Links

The Marine Corps League, formed in 1923, united over 40 marine organizations after WWI. The Military Order of the Devil Dogs, created in 1939, serves as its FUN and HONOR SOCIETY. Comprised of regular League members, the Order promotes camaraderie, upholds Marine Corps values, and supports various charities. Members advance through stages from Pup to Pedigreed Devil Dog, fostering fellowship and American ideals.

The Marine Corps League was founded in 1923 by World War I Veteran of Belleau Wood, Commandant of the Marine Corps, then Major General John A. Lejeune. On August 4, 1937, the U.S. Congress Congressionally Chartered the organization as a Veteran Service Organization. It maintains a 501c4 non-profit status with the Internal Revenue Service with special tax exemption.

Chartered in 1937, the Marine Corps League Auxiliary supports the interests of the Marine Corps and its members. Incorporated in 1950, the Auxiliary promotes patriotism, honors Marine Corps history, and provides fraternal support to Marines and their families. Members engage in various programs that uphold American freedoms and assist Marines and veterans.

Eligibility:

  • Regular Members: Female relatives of Marines or FMF Corpsmen/Chaplains, including wives, mothers, daughters, and more, over 16 years of age.

  • Associate Members: Women over 16 who don't meet the above criteria can join as associate members.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington DC honors those who died in the Vietnam War. Their relatives and friends leave letters, poems, and photographs at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and on this web site. We bring the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to your home to help remember the sacrifices of the fallen and their families.
