ANNOUNCEMENT-Proposed By-Laws Changes

Section 17, Amendments: These By-Laws or any provisions therein, may be revised, repealed, or amended. All proposed amendments must be reviewed by the Commandant and the Department Staff prior to presentation of the proposal(s) to the membership. The proposed amendment must be published in the Detachment newsletter no less than thirty (30) days prior to the vote on the amendment(s).

Section 18, Effective Date of Amendments or Repeals: Any amendment or repeal of these By-Laws, shall not take effect until sixty (60) days after any action or decision has occurred.

These proposed changes will be up for a vote by the body during the upcoming meeting scheduled for January 8, 2025.
